This year’s roster is a mixed bag of MCs hailing from all the parts of the country and innovating the genre of hip-hop. And with Detroit’s standout DeJ Loaf and Chicago’s Tink gracing the cover, this is first time XXL has featured two female MCs on the Freshman cover.
